I recently met a consultant Dermatologist to discuss my skin problems. These have now calmed down considerably. I am still using Hydroxizine daily and have reduced the use of aqueous cream to once a day. My ESR was last measured as 2 and my platelets and Neutrophil levels are normal. My blood pressure was measured at 105/65.
The Dermatologist thinks that the problems I have had are attributable to the way methotrexate affects cells energy usage. Both times that I had the worst problems have been after major changes in Methotrexate levels. The good news is that the continued use of anakinra is okay.
