I saw a Dermatologist during my last visit to see my rheumatology consultant. Thankfully he thinks that my skin problems are not realte to the biologic therapy I am taking. On his advice I am now using basic aqueous cream. My father also recommended Dead Sea Salt baths. These measures have both greatly improved my skin irritation.
My ESR has come down from 36 to 20. This mirrors my general condition. Other than the arthritic conditions you would expect in my hands and wrists I am feeling well. I am taking Methotrexate again (15mg) and continue on 15mg of Prednisolone. This will be reduced when the skin problems are resolved.
